The Success Story of the 8th International Conference on Agriculture 2021 (Agrico 2021)

The 8th International Conference on Agriculture 2021 (AGRICO 2021)) was held from 19^th – 20^th of August 2021 in Virtual Platform under the theme of “Future of Agriculture and Organic Agriculture Towards Green Economy”.

The conference was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka in collaboration with The South – South Aquaculture and Fisheries Cooperation and Jordan Society for Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship, and Creativity as the Co-Hosting Partners, Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA), The Institute for Agricultural and Forest Environment (IAFE) of Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland, Mekong Delta Development Research Institute, Can Tho University, Vietnam, The University of Mauritius and Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Bangladesh as the Academic Partners.

With over 30+ participants representing 15 countries, AGRICO 2021 welcomed Local and International Industry Experts, Researchers, Practitioners, International educational institutions, Organizations and Civil society to this great knowledge sharing platform. The Conference was chaired by Prof. Dr. Samih Abubaker, Former Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan.

Inauguration Ceremony

The welcome address of AGRICO 2021 was made by Mr. Isanka P Gamage, Co-Founder and Managing Director of The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM). The opening remarks were made by the Conference Co-Chair Prof. Dr. Samih Abubaker, Former Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan.

Prof. Rida Shibli, President, Jordan Society for Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship and Creativity, Jordan and Prof. Jerzy Bieńkowski, Institute of Agricultural and Forest Environment of Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland has made the welcome speeches representing the Conference Partners.

The Conference provided an opportunity for delegates to share their valuable knowledge and experience in the field of Aquaculture from various perspectives.
